Zwischen den Alben Wild Life und Red Rose Speedway erschienen drei Wings-Singles: Am 25. Februar wurde Give Ireland To The Irish, McCartney, 3:45 veröffentlicht (Apple R 5936, UK).
Dem folgten im May 1972 die Singles: Mary Had A Little Lamp, McCartney / Little Woman Love, McCartney, (R 5949, UK)
und im Dezember 1972 die Single: Hi-Hi-Hi, McCartney, 3:06 / C Moon, McCartney, 4:30 (R 5973, UK)
Das zweite Wings-Album erschien zuerst in den USA. Eingespielt wurde es von: Paul McCartney (g, b, voc), Linda McCartney (keyb, voc), Henry McCullough (g), Denny Laine (g), Denny Seiwell (dr), Dave Spinoza (g), Hugh McCracken (g). Das Album ist musikalisch relativ unspektakulär, wäre da nicht der „Über-Hit“ „My Love“. Laut McCartney hat hier Henry McCullough sein solistisches Meisterwerk abgeliefert. Das Gitarrensolo spielte er beim ersten Mal komplett so ein, wie es auf der Platte zu hören ist.
